Support FAQ
Where is my data stored?
The personal app is local-first. Pain, medication, symptom, and note entries stay on your device by default and are not synced to iCloud or CloudKit by default. Data leaves the app only when you choose to export, share, or enable Secure Sync with a clinic.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. Core app tracking works offline for logging pain, logging medication, and reviewing entries already on your device. Internet access may be needed for clinic sync, portal access, support email, app updates, or sharing exported files through cloud services.
How do I switch themes?
Open Settings in AndEase and choose the supported theme option you prefer. If you use the system theme, AndEase follows the light or dark appearance selected in iOS.
Is this medical advice?
No. AndEase is a tracking tool for personal records and clinic conversations. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition and does not replace professional medical advice or professional clinical judgment.
How do I export my data to share with a clinician?
Use the app export or report options, including Settings > Export/Import CSV where available. You choose where the file is saved or shared. Review exports before sending them and do not email personal health entries to support unless support specifically asks for a safe export.
How do I connect to or disconnect from a clinic?
Clinic sync is optional. Use Care Center > Secure Sync > Sync Settings in the app to review connection options, change sharing, disconnect, or delete backend data where supported. Your clinic can also provide the correct invite or connection flow.
What data does my clinic see when I sync?
Clinics see only the information shared through the Secure Sync connection, based on the data types and time range you choose. Personal app entries that have not been shared remain local to your device unless you export or share them yourself.
How do I report a bug?
Send the steps to reproduce the issue, screenshots if they do not contain sensitive data, and your device/app version.
What should I do if notifications aren't working?
Check that notifications are enabled for AndEase in iOS Settings, confirm the reminder is enabled inside the app, and review Focus modes or notification summaries that may silence alerts. If reminders still do not appear, include your iOS version and app version when contacting support.
What should I do if Apple Watch isn't updating?
Keep the Watch and iPhone nearby, confirm Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled, and open AndEase on iPhone to refresh the connection. If entries still do not appear, confirm the Watch app is installed and contact support with your watchOS, iOS, and app versions.
